Company Accountant - Full time OR Part timeEdward Mann is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Company Accountant to join an established retail business in Kingaroy, QLD.

The role offers great flexibility around family schedules and can even be part-time for the right individual. The role is paying up to 100k + super, depending on candidate experience.
Responsibilities:Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Oversee payments, receivables, and debtor management to maintain accurate records and timely collections.Payroll Administration: Process fortnightly payroll for 10 + staff using MYOB software.Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management.Financial Operations: Prepare, analyse, and report financial statements and cash flow forecasts.Capital Asset Register: Maintain the Capital Asset Register for accurate tracking and reporting.Tax Compliance: Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and superannuation filings.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and compliance standards.Employee Records & Inductions: Maintain staff records, coordinate inductions, and uphold Workplace Health and Safety standards.External Tax Support: Provide assistance to external tax accountants as required.Administrative Supervision: Oversee administrative functions, including the supervision of a full-time Admin Assistant.Requirements:Accounts experience – 2 + years in an accounting environment. CA/CPA Qualification will be highly regarded.Strong working knowledge of MYOB, XERO and MS Office Suite.The ability to prepare, analyse and report financial data and reports.A pro-active, can-do approach in the workplace.Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.For more information please apply ASAP.
