The Role: Our client is looking for a Company Accountant responsible for the overall finance function. Reporting directly to the General Manager and CFO, the role will spearhead a dynamic accounting team and oversee pivotal financial operations. The roles will encompass: The leadership of a small yet energetic accounts team Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasting and annual budgets to the defined timescales Provide support to project teams with project budgets, financial forecasts and financial reports as required Prepare and provide updated business costings to the estimating team to ensure accurate preparation of tender submissions Facilitate finance meetings to discuss financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and areas of risk with the management team to help drive financial decisions Attend and contribute to Board meetings, staff meetings and monthly toolbox meetings Oversight and management of financial operations, from purchasing to payroll, ensuring seamless cash flow management Preparation and lodgement of IAS & BAS Streamlining internal financial procedures for enhanced efficiency About You: As the Company Accountant, you'll assume a pivotal leadership role within the finance team, combining day-to-day accounting expertise with strategic acumen to steer financial success.
