19th April, 2024 Rokon is one of Victoria's prominent Civil Construction contractors. We are currently experiencing significant growth and have a healthy pipeline of projects on the horizon. Due to this, we currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Compactor Operator to join our teams in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
As we grow, we have expanded our plant, bringing on 14 new machines in the last 6 months.
About the opportunity
We currently have opportunities available across various sites. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your key duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and position plant for operationLoad and unload equipment as requiredMonitor operation of plant and adjust accordinglyWork from drawings and markers for essential services (i.e. electrical, gas etc.), as directed by Supervisors and EngineersFollow and ensure safe operating procedures at all times 19th April, 2024 Rokon is one of Victoria's prominent Civil Construction contractors. To be considered, you need to demonstrate the following:
At least 2 years land development and subdivision experience operating CompactorsGPS, Topcon or Trimble experience is a must as you will be operating front line machinesAll appropriate tickets and appropriate licensesRokon provides a family oriented and supportive workplace environment with training and career development. An attractive hourly rate, applicable allowances plus opportunities for overtime, will be provided.
