We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged Care clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around the Dubbo and surrounds and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm. (Preferably 3-5 days)
Day to day role looks like: General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washingTransport to appointments and shoppingMeal preparationSocial Support or Respite for family/carersPersonal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)To be successful in this role you'll need: A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyComfortable interacting with a wide variety of peopleA reliable team playerUnderstanding of workplace health and safetyAn Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program)Willingness to apply for a Police CheckWhat we can offer you: Competitive hourly pay rate + Km reimbursement (99c per Km) + paid travel timeFitness Passport discounted gym benefits40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to moveA values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
