Community Correctional Services (CCS) is overseen by Corrections Victoria, a division of the Department of Justice and Community Safety.CCS is responsible for the management and supervision of prisoners on parole, clients under post sentence supervision and court orders. The goal is to help offenders follow court orders, providing support and follow up when they are at risk of non-successful completion. CCS contributes to community safety by using strategies to reduce reoffending, encouraging participants to take responsibility, and connecting them with programs and services.About the roleAs a Community Work Officer, you will be responsible for providing community work opportunities and contracts to enable offenders to complete their community work hours and orders successfully.
