THE ROLE Our Community Support Workers have the rewarding role of caring for elderly people in their homes, enabling their overall independence.
Your day-to-day workload will include providing personal care (showering, dressing, hygiene), meal preparation, domestic duties, social support, shopping assistance, transport, and pet care. Additional responsibilities can include fitting and removal of pressure stockings, respite, and assisting with medication.
We have a permanent part-time opportunity in areas throughout our southern suburbs including Serpentine, Byford and Wandi.
Area of need: Lower South East Suburbs Desired Availability: 7am to 7pm About You A caring nature, comfortable driving and transporting clients, and working independently.
You either have experience working in aged care, community services, or caring responsibilities. Traineeships are available for those interested in a career change to support our elderly community. *Eligibility applies*
