To participate as a collaborative member of the Weipa Cluster Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug Service ("MHAODS") supporting clinical positions in the management of MHAODS care.The role will be required to work across the full age spectrum (whole of life) and across the MHAODS portfolios. The purpose of this position is to provide culturally appropriate interventions, education and advice on social and cultural issues that are relevant for treatment of Indigenous consumers. 
To be successful in this role you will have: TCHHS Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services ("MHAODS") covers a large and diverse area with a population to match. If this sounds like the right fit for you, Torres and Cape can offer you: Base comprising salary between $2,864.10 – $3,185.10 per fortnight  Generous employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) Salary packaging option to increase your take home pay Work / Life balance, variety and flexibility  Great support team Requirements for the role: Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community. This position requires the incumbent to operate a 'C' Class Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty. Potential applicants are advised that Section 63-1A of the Aged Care Act 1997 requires Queensland Health to seek a criminal conviction record report from the Australian Federal Police; conduct a search of bankruptcy records; and conduct previous employment and referee checks. For additional information regarding the responsibilities, mandatory qualifications and/or other requirements for this position please refer to the role description.
