What's on offer? We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Community & Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in Adelaide. In this role you'll be responsible for: Engaging stakeholders, landowners, indigenous communities, local councils, state governments and any other governing bodies/authorities
Ensuring all contractual and legislative requirements are met prior to access of land for survey and construction works
Proactively manage key stakeholders expectations and concerns to ensure access constraints do not inhibit the survey/construction program
Promote a Safety First culture.
How you'll connect to the role: Ability to develop strong relationships with community and stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications in communications and/or stakeholder engagement combined with hands-on project experience in an infrastructure construction environment
Experience managing stakeholder expectations and balancing priorities
Empathy, listening skills and the ability to make sound and balanced judgments
A good understanding of the project life cycle of major infrastructure/construction projects
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
