Job Description We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with people in their own homes or over the telephone. You may want to spend some time in the garden, play cards, listen to music or do some arts and craft activities. Or perhaps go to a local coffee shop.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to Volunteer socially with our elderly client in Bankstown, Our Client has a passion for cats, she would like to to get out and about to enjoy the warmer weather, taking a walk to the local park or sitting down over a cuppa and a chat.

Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
