Job Description Volunteering with HammondCare At Home is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only does volunteering impact the person you spend time with, but you'll learn a lot and meet new people.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals in the Campbelltown and surrounding areas, who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with an elderly person.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to Volunteer socially with our elderly client in Villawood, Our Client enjoys getting out of the house, walking her dogs and she would enjoy a friendly visitor to have a chat over a cuppa. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with. 

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination will be required (Two (2) doses) •

One hour visits for 6 months or longer. We would be happy to arrange a suitable day and time.
