Job Description We are seeking a friendly individual to volunteer visiting with an elderly client with sight impairment. Our client has a passion for animal care having lived on a farm and with a past hobby of breeding Bichon Fries', he has an interest in Chinese culture, has travelled extensively and would enjoy a cuppa and good conversation.

Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination will be required (Two 2 doses) •

One hour per week/fortnight for 6 months or longer, ideally between 9am-5pm Tuesday to Friday.
