The role of the Content Designer is to support the delivery of accessible and user-centred content for a variety of channels including the range of digital channels such as websites, SharePoint (intranet), social media platforms and e-newsletters.Collaborating within and across teams you will focus on understanding the underlying communication need for a piece of information and how to develop high quality content to deliver that message.This role requires a strong understanding of digital content and WCAG2.1 accessibility standards, plain language, SEO, analytics and creating content for digital channels.We can't wait to meet you!

Bringing an audience-first lens to the work, informed by research, insights, and evaluation.Collaborating with stakeholders in partnership with a strong client service ethic.Working in a fast-paced environment, while being flexible and open to change.Working to whole of government guidelines, policies, and procedures, and being guided by an annual whole of government communications and engagement plan.The successful candidate will have lots of energy and ideas, and will be adept at juggling multiple priorities, be able to think strategically and have great people skills - not to mention exceptional written and verbal accessible communication skills.
Notes: A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
