Assistant Director - Office for Women and Youth EngagementFull-time PermanentDetails: Community Services Directorate (CSD) is seeking applications for an Assistant Director in the Office for Women to lead work to develop and implement programs to support women, girls and gender diverse people who align themselves with this group in the ACT.
The Assistant Director role supports the Director and/or the Senior Director, Office for Women and Youth Engagement.
The Assistant Director will be responsible for overseeing program development and delivery and/or policy development, preparing documents to support ACT Government briefing, reporting and budget processes, and supporting high-level decision making.
The role requires highly developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
The role also includes overseeing the delivery of, and occasionally delivering, programs and events.
This role includes staff supervision and involves managing staff in a hybrid working arrangement, overseeing and delivering programs and events in person.
