We currently have an exciting role for you to join our Community Safety Team as a Community Safety Investigator.
Key responsibilities of the position include: Undertaking highly complex investigations as an Authorised Officer. Utilising specialised skills and knowledge to make recommendations on enforcement action from investigations. Assisting in the development and delivery of operational community safety programs/projects. Leading moderately complex operations including the planning, execution and seizure of animals. Providing expert technical advice to the Community Safety Team and the public on community safety matters. The successful applicant will have: Significant experience within a complex community safety or regulatory role. Experience in undertaking end to end highly complex investigations. Experience in conflict management, negotiation and mediation. Comprehensive knowledge of all legislation and associated regulations, standards and policies relevant to Community Safety functions. Highly developed knowledge in undertaking highly complex investigations including investigative process, planning and reporting. Highly developed knowledge in interview planning and techniques. This is a Level 5 position which has a current salary range of $100,784 - $105,336 per annum (plus superannuation).
