Based in a 4 bedroom cottage overseeing the meals, medication and activities for respite clients.Give clinical advice and support to clients and provide referrals to services where more specialized support/advice may be required.Provide collaborative leadership, support and supervision to Care Advisors and Care staff.Work closely with local allied health professionals to facilitate responsive care for our clients.Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management and achieving clinical support goals.Part time roster for every second weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, to meet the needs of our customers.About You: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents to support them to live life to their potential!
Current nursing qualification with AHPRA registration.Min. 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Community Home Care/District Nursing (preferred).Availability to work every second weekend is a must-have.Experience with evaluating and implementing care support plans.Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis and on the spot problem solving.Available to work 10pm - 8am Fri-Sun fortnightly.Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast paced environment with exemplary communication skills in a team and one on one interactions.Committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust).Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check card.Current and ongoing flu vaccinations.Australian working rights.Ability to pass a national police clearance.Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
