Career Opportunities: Community Research and Engagement Manager (3192) Requisition ID 3192 - Posted - Management - Full Time As Community Research and Engagement Manager you will lead council's understanding of and engagement with the community through research, data, insights, analysis and on-ground action to inform and support strategy and decision-making.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Develop targeted, multi-channel communication and engagement campaigns that enable effective engagement and manage reputational risks and emerging issues Deliver place-based events and activations that enable effective engagement Build insights capability across the organisation to inspire community input into council strategy and decision-making Lead research and analysis activities and leverage data and analytics to identify stakeholder and community attitudes to effectively target communications and influence the direction of current and future strategies and programs Represent and present council's position on priority and emerging issues to the Ipswich community Lead, coach and support a focused team with a positive and effective culture To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or related field, and/or extensive experience Substantial experience in building and delivering engagement programs aligned to overarching strategic objectives Strong experience in quantitative market research (essential) and qualitative research (beneficial) Experience working in a senior stakeholder role across complex projects to develop and implement high-quality communications, research and engagement plans and strategies Demonstrated team leadership with an aptitude for clear communication, staff development, solutions focus and shared achievement About the benefits This is a fixed-term contract with an attractive remuneration package that includes 12.5% superannuation and leave loading.
