About the role
We are looking for a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist to join our team in Cairns. In this role, you will be responsible for providing community psychiatry services to patients with behavioral and psychiatric difficulties resulting from dementia. You will work Monday to Friday from 0800 to 1630, with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties.
Duties
Provide community psychiatry services to patients with behavioral and psychiatric difficulties resulting from dementia.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Skills & experience
A degree in medicine and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
Demonstrated experience in providing community psychiatry services.
