Community Project Officer

RDN is seeking a Community Project Officer to manage and coordinate the implementation and development of project sites in the Hunter New England Region.
The role has the responsibility to engage with local stakeholders, advance project activities, and support program goals.
This position requires face-to-face engagement with local stakeholders, so candidates should be based in or able to easily travel to the HNE area.
Key Responsibilities: Effectively engage, consult with and empower local stakeholders to ensure each step of the Collaborative Care process is guided by local community needs.
Administer project working groups and other discussions, and seek subject matter expertise when relevant to support continuous quality improvement.
Provide regular updates, advice and information to management and stakeholders on project progress and any emerging issues.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve healthcare outcomes in collaboration with program partners.
Manage project planning, development and implementation for the trial.
This includes developing project plans, coordinating resources, liaising with project partners, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project related activities.
Key Selection Criteria: Qualifications/Licences: Relevant tertiary qualification and/or accreditation.
Experience/Knowledge: Experience in planning and implementing change management initiatives.
Experience in community engagement with a range of stakeholders, ideally in a regional, rural or remote location.
Experience managing competing demands to deliver on commitments and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of the NSW rural health care industry (desirable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salesforce or similar CRM experience.
Intermediate/Advanced Office 365 skills including Word, Excel and Power Point.
