The Opportunity Our Allied Health team in Tasmania is looking for an experienced Physiotherapist based in Hobart for a permanent part-time role from 0.4-0.6 FTE. With a focus on promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in everyday activities, you will work with a range of clients in the community and in residential aged care, supporting and guiding them to achieve their goals and ultimately to help them live their best lives. We provide services across the following packages and programs:
Private services: supporting individuals with self-identified needs.Rehab in the home program: focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery.Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalization, including general surgeries.Home Care Package clients: supporting those in our community who wish to remain independent at home.Residential aged care facilities: develop, implement, and manage group and 1:1 exercise programs.About you You are a fully AHPRA registered Physiotherapist with a minimum of 1 year's experience, ideally within a community setting, and are comfortable working independently.
As a mobile Community Physio, you will need to be comfortable traveling to our clients located across Hobart and provide your own vehicle (kilometre reimbursement provided for this travel). If you are not in Hobart but would be interested in moving there, we can offer a relocation assistance allowance.
