The Community Partner supports the Regional Coordinating Partner to coordinate the Community Connections program across their region, ensuring that all other partners work together to provide the most appropriate services and support for participants.
This is a Part Time contract position working 30.4 hours per week, commencing in the new year 2025, offered until 30 June 2025 with the possibility for extension, based in Port Pirie, South Australia.

Certificate IV in Community Services or other relevant human services related qualification (be working towards or have a willingness to obtain).Experience in working with and supporting individuals or families, including people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and Aboriginal /Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) backgrounds.Knowledge of community services and support networks available in the area and an understanding of the benefits around having connections.Demonstrated ability to apply initiative and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as a cooperative member of a team to achieve team objectives.Experience in working in a highly confidential manner.High level of communication skills (listening, verbal and written).High level of ability in the use of Microsoft Office and Information Technology.Requirements of the role:Hold (or willingness to obtain) a DHS Working With Children Check – don't worry, we can support this process if necessary!Hold (or willingness to obtain) a National Police ClearanceHold a current South Australian Driver's Licence (minimum Provisional Licence)Centacare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
