super): as per award Hours per fortnight: 43 Employment Status: 12 month Part Time/Fixed Term position commencing on February 2025 Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination (2 doses)Closing date: 16/10/2024The Palliative Care Medicine Registrar position (Part-time 0.5 EFT) is a 12 month funded diploma position designed for doctors who wish to gain experience in the specialty.
It would be an expectation that the post holder would work towards the Clinical Foundation in Palliative medicine (previously known as the Diploma in Palliative Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians) and the post holder will be released to attend the advanced trainee's education program in Melbourne.Experience will be gained in the following areas:Working alongside a multi-disciplinary Community Specialist palliative care ServiceHospital in-reach – Palliative Care at HomePalliative medicine outpatient clinicsParticipation in hospital Grand Rounds, Journal club and quality programsThis position would suit a trainee in General Practice or an established general practitioner who is seeking to gain additional experience in palliative care.Working with Bendigo HealthBendigo Health is a leader in regional health care, combining outstanding services with a strong education, training and personal development culture.Created by our community in the 1850s, we have a long, proud history of delivering excellent care to our community.Our organisation is diverse, welcoming and committed to delivering our vision of Excellent Care.
