Community Member - Clinical Governance CommitteeDescriptionGP down south is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing health and wellbeing services in the Peel and South West regions since 1994.
We are seeking to appoint a community member to join our Clinical Governance Committee.
The community member will help the committee oversee clinical governance and quality relating to the health services we provide.
ResponsibilitiesAttendance and active participation in quarterly Clinical Governance meetings.Support for the ongoing development of a continuous quality improvement structure and culture.To ensure clinical risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated.To oversee and review policies and work instructions relating to clinical service provision.Support a two-way process between the Organisation and consumers of our services.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have:
Lived experience of mental health or alcohol and other drug issues.Clinical governance or quality experience or willingness to learn.The community member will be supported and upskilled as required to enable effective participation.
This is a non-paying position; however, in recognition of your time and efforts, GP down south will reimburse you in the form of a gift voucher.
