Role The Community Learning and Wellbeing Officer at Barayip Primary School will be an integral part of the School Improvement Team. They will be:
supporting in classrooms by providing tutoring to students + feedback to students about their learning and wellbeing. work directly with PLC Leaders to cater for the individual needs of students in preparation for tutoring sessions. supporting the School Improvement Team with Administration tasks which contributes to community learning and wellbeing. provided with Berry Street Education Model Professional Learning. working closely with experts, focusing on Gratitude, Berry Street Education Model and Community Engagement. model exemplary behaviours, attitudes and mindset with our Community, based upon our school values of Gratitude, Kindness, Teamwork, Social Intelligence and Love of Learning.Responsibilities The Community Learning and Wellbeing Officer is responsible for:
modelling our culture of deep gratitude and growth with all staff, students and community members. providing exemplary feedback about school values and learning to students. engaging in professional learning to grow their own talents. promoting enrichment opportunities for all students, which results in school connectedness, academic excellence and high levels of engagement.Conditions of Employment All staff employed by the Department and schools have access to a broad range of employment conditions and working arrangements.
