Reporting to the Senior Community & Heritage Advisor, the primary accountability of the Community & Heritage Advisor is to support effective implementation of Northern Star's Social Performance Strategy and Native Title Agreement commitments across the Company's Australian Operations, with focus on the Yandal Production Centre.
This role will ensure compliance with all Cultural Heritage standards, systems, and processes under which the business operates, including coordination of cultural heritage surveys, cultural monitoring, and development and implementation of cultural heritage management plans.
The role is also responsible for building and maintaining enduring trust-based relationships between Northern Star's Australian Operations and local stakeholders, specifically Traditional Owners, Native Title partners, and local communities, to deliver positive social and economic outcomes.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities Deliver the cultural heritage survey program across the Yandal Production Centre to ensure compliance to internal standards, agreement conditions and statutory requirements.Build and maintain trust-based relationships with Traditional Owners to create shared value outcomes.Partner with internal Company stakeholders to support full implementation of Native Title agreement commitments.Work collaboratively with sites to implement social impact assessments and related action plans.Support implementation of Northern Star's Social Performance Strategy across the Yandal Production Centre.Desired Experience & Competencies Experience relating to stakeholder engagement, community development, and/or cultural heritage management, ideally in the resource sector.Demonstrated experience maintaining positive relationships within complex and challenging environments.Understanding of Aboriginal peoples' cultural values and knowledge.Complex problem-solving abilities to deliver solutions across the business.The ability to multitask, prioritise and organise concurrent projects under tight time pressures.Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment with confidentiality and respect.Eligibility:
