CF Together is a national organisation dedicated to advancing progress for people living with cystic fibrosis (CF).
Their purpose is to drive progress for all people living with CF in Australia by enabling the CF community to access the best care and support, advocating for change, advancing treatment and finding a cure.
It is an exciting time to join CF Together - they have recently released a new strategic plan, including a rebrand and a change of name from Cystic Fibrosis Community Care to CF Together.
The Community Fundraising & Events Officer plays a key supporting role in CF Together's Fundraising & Partnerships team, assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of community fundraising activities and events.
This position helps contribute to the growth of CF Together by building relationships with community fundraisers, community groups and volunteers, as well as assisting with flagship fundraising events and administrative tasks.
The role focuses on assisting with fundraising initiatives, helping to ensure a positive experience for participants and contributing to the overall success of events.
Reporting to and working closely with the Community Fundraising & Events Manager, you will support with all community fundraising initiatives.
This includes peer-to-peer fundraising, physical challenge events and national flagship campaigns such as Break a Sweat and CF Month.
You will contribute to the development and delivery of the strategy and annual plans, with a focus on increasing participation, engagement and revenue generated.
About YOU ? Previous experience in community fundraising, peer-to-peer campaigns and/or events.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
Relationship building skills, including experience liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.
Project management experience and the ability to manage conflicting priorities under pressure, A warm, proactive and hands on approach, with a can-do attitude.
You thrive in a customer service focused role and have a strong ability to build rapport with people.
Experience using online fundraising platforms is desirable, as well as working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce (or similar).
Qualifications in Marketing, Events or a related area, or at least two years relevant work experience, Passion for working in the NFP sector and a commitment to CF Together's purpose, Ability to work on weekends and outside of standard business hours as required with each event.
