About the Opportunity This role represents a rare opportunity to work on the pioneering SSN AUKUS Build Program, delivering an essential sovereign capability for Australia.
This role is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility team, focusing on engaging with local communities, stakeholders, and the public to promote understanding and support for our submarine projects.
Responsibilities Develop and implement community outreach programs to inform and engage the public about submarine projects.Organise events, meetings, and presentations to foster community support.Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and other stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between the organisation and the community.Develop and distribute communication materials, including newsletters, press releases, and social media content.Collect and analyse feedback from the community to inform project planning and decision-making.
Prepare reports on community engagement activities and outcomes. About you Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations or experience in a relevant field.Demonstrated experience in stakeholder and community engagement and consulting with relevant internal and external stakeholders.Uphold high ethical standards and integrity.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
