Community Engagement Consultant - Employment ServicesFull-time position based in Dubbo & Far West Orana RegionWorkforce Australia, developed by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, is an employment services model designed to deliver streamlined support for both local job seekers and employers.
The Community Engagement Consultant is pivotal in this effort, actively engaging with employers, attending job fairs, and participating in community events to promote VERTO's Employment Services.
This role focuses on identifying and securing employment and training opportunities such as apprenticeships and traineeships for participants in the Workforce Australia program.
About the role.... As a Community Engagement Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.Gaining a deep understanding of regional labour markets and identifying key employers and stakeholders to foster and expand existing relationships.Supporting participants in securing and maintaining sustainable employment or education placements.Collaborating closely with Case Managers across the region to ensure participants receive the best possible support and service.Representing VERTO at regional job fairs and community events to promote the organization's profile and services.About you..... Experience or a strong interest in marketing and business development, with a proven ability to succeed in a target-driven environment.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, liaise, and consult effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strong ability to build rapport with people from various backgrounds and provide encouragement and support to help them achieve their goals.Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer-based systems.A current driver's license and the willingness to travel regionally as required.About us....VERTO has been operating as a not-for-profit organisation that positively transforms the lives of individuals through the services we offer for over 40 years.
