We are seeking an experienced and passionate Community Engagement Advisor to join our dynamic Communication & Engagement team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to empower the community to actively participate in civic life and inform decision-making. You will lead the planning of community engagement initiatives and provide strategic advice to ensure effective engagement processes across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement effective community engagement strategies that strengthen the relationship between our organisation and its stakeholders.Lead and coordinate community engagement planning, ensuring alignment with our goals and values.Provide comprehensive communications advice and support to various business units within the organisation.Facilitate two-way communication and learning opportunities, enhancing collaboration among our community and stakeholders.Ensure that services evolve through informed strategic decision-making, focusing on research, planning, and performance management.Collaborate with team members and community stakeholders to establish trusting and respectful relationships.Qualifications:Degree in Communications or a related discipline, or demonstrated relevant experience.Certification with the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).Current NSW Driver's Licence.A minimum of 3 years' experience in community or stakeholder engagement roles.Strong understanding of community engagement methodologies and proven experience in developing, delivering, and measuring stakeholder engagement strategies.Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups across various channels.Ability to interpret and analyse complex information and provide clear insights.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle competing deadlines.Experience in a government environment is highly regarded.Previous experience working alongside communications or marketing teams is a plus.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
