Community Dietitian

We are looking for an experienced Dietician to join the CGA team on a full time basis THE POSITION Deliver an array of high-impact nutrition services and initiatives across specific contracts Engage local and inter-sectoral stakeholders in collaborative action on nutrition-related issues and challenges Aid in the systemic change required for a more sustainable food system lending to greater health and wellbeing outcomes Facilitate learning workshops and demonstrations such as cooking classes Facilitate nutrition and sustainable-living skill development and training for community outreach providers

THE PERSON Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited institution. Accredited Practicing Dietitian or eligibility for registration/accreditation. Entry-level will be considered. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complex nutrition concepts to diverse audiences. Proficiency in meal planning, recipe development, and culinary techniques, preferred. Experience working with culturally diverse populations and understanding of cultural food practices, desired. Demonstrated commitment to promoting health equity, social justice, and community empowerment. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Regular remote travel required, including public holidays as requested.
