Job Description About Council

About the role
Working closely with the local community, community groups and other organisations, this position will support the Community Vision of embracing our natural environment and lifestyle options to create an inspiring place for everyone to live, work and play.
With a particular focus on creating healthy, inclusive, connected neighbourhoods and liveable and thriving environments, you will deliver community events, support inclusion and active ageing, as well as assist in maintaining Council facilities and support community engagement.

Desired Skills and Experience About you
Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in community development, community services, diversity and inclusion, or other relevant field.
Ideally, you will have experience in supporting the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of programs, policies and strategies to strengthen communities as well as strong communication and networking skills to establish and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders.
