This position is fully funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services and Social Shift.

About The Opportunity
In this temporary full time role, you will develop and implement resources and engagement activities aimed at improving understanding and awareness of domestic and family violence service system in the Bundaberg Regional Council Local Government Area, including identifying gaps, building capacity and evidence to support future advocacy, investment and community education/awareness.
About You
Demonstrated experience of community development work at the local community level.
Demonstrated ability to develop plans, education strategies and resources.
Demonstrated project management skills to identify strategic goals and work autonomously against a project plan to achieve milestones and key objectives.
High-level communication, presentation and negotiation skills with a proven ability to effectively facilitate stakeholder relationships and achieve outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivated to achieve outcomes but contribute to overarching team goals and deadlines.
Highly developed analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience working in the domestic and family violence sector is high desired.
Hold a current QLD drivers licence and Working with Children Blue Card
