About this Community Based Role:In partnership with community, you will develop and implement community capacity building projects that encourage First Nations Australians with disability to enjoy equitable quality of life.Identify culturally appropriate, mainstream services for people living with disability.Promote diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness.Provide support and linkages to community organisations for those not eligible for the NDIS.Collaborate with regional stakeholders to enhance access and inclusion.About You:Must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait IslanderProven experience in community developmentUnderstanding of community capacity buildingExceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsGreat people skills, excellent written communication, and time managementLived experience or experience caring for someone with a disability (not essential, but a good bonus)Holder of a current driver's license, or probationary license, with access to reliable transportIf you have a passion for supporting your local community and a dedication to fostering inclusivity for First Nations People with disability, you should apply for this rewarding job.
