Salary and Benefits:
• Band 5, $75,968.88 to $87,500.40 per annum plus 11.5% super.
• Permanent full-time position with monthly RDO based at our Drouin Council office.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out all duties associated with animal management, and the protection of the municipal amenity in line with the Shire's Local Law and other relevant legislation.

About the Successful Candidate:
The successful candidate will have:
Certificate IV in Statutory Compliance (Government) or Certificate IV in Animal Control and Regulation or qualify within 12 months.Demonstrated knowledge of local government regulatory and statutory requirements, investigation, resolution, and enforcement processes or proven ability to develop the required knowledge within a short time.Demonstrated ability to conduct investigations, gather evidence, prepare briefs of evidence and represent an organisation at court proceedings.Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.High level of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to make realistic and sound decisions.Demonstrated experience dealing with people and a proven ability to remain calm and objective in stressful situations.A current Victorian driver's licence is essential.Further Information and How To Apply:
