We are presently looking for the right people to provide care, support and assistance to a number of clients based in Rockhampton. These are casual positions but require early starts (7:00am) to support our clients meet their needs and goals.

Our services span the continuum of aged care, from home care to respite and believe a big part of what we do is to help our clients flourish. $38.26 - $40.25 ph (SCHADS Home Care Aged Care Casual L3) plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available What you'll be doing As a Community Care Worker, you'll work with clients in their homes, following their care plans, to provide support and ensure their needs are met.
Assisting clients with their care requirements in accordance with their care plans and preferencesSupporting clients with transportation and community accessMonitoring their condition and reporting on any changes in condition or behaviourProviding in-home personal care and daily living assistance including administering medication, manual handling and domestic assistanceAbout you: Completed Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing (or similar) or studying towards equivalent (or higher qualification)Experience of working alongside clients with cognitive and/or physical limitationsHave your own vehicle and a Queensland Provisional Green or above clear Driver's Licence with comprehensive insurance and service history (mandatory)Current First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate or willingness to obtain (prior to commencement)Ability to obtain positive notice in the legislatively required personal history check in line with service stream compliance requirementsWhy Mercy Community Mercy Community a Catholic not-for-profit that provides a wide range of services supporting families and young people, people living with a disability and the elderly.
