Main responsibilities include but not limited to:
Designing and coordinating capacity building programs in the home and the community.Supporting less experienced team members in supervisory and mentor capacityUndertake interventions specific to a neurological caseload, including but not limited to: Physical and cognitive rehab post-stroke, ABI, cerebral palsy, congenital disorders, progressive diseases.Educating participants, their supporters, and their families on strategies to increase occupational engagement and performance.Modifying the home environment to suit the needs of individuals and to facilitate independence.Prescription and acquisition of assistive technology for home and community access.Advocation to funding bodies to support the needs of clients and their support network.You will be working with a wide range of caseloads such as:
