The City of Stonnington is seeking a dedicated Community Capacity Officer to join our team and lead initiatives that make a lasting impact on our community, especially for older residents.
In this role you'll: Champion community wellbeing by leading programs, events, and initiatives that support a healthy and inclusive Stonnington.
Lead the Ageing Well Action Plan to help older residents live healthier lives.
Build networks with service providers, community groups, and agencies to advance equity, health, and inclusion.
Stay informed on trends impacting ageing residents and offer insights to shape future services.
Conduct social research to influence Council's funding, strategy, and program direction.
Support the Volunteer Program, Connect and Discover Network, and manage the Community Grants process.
Represent Council in forums, working groups, and committees.
Handle reports, agendas, minutes, and other essential administrative tasks.
