The role:
As the Community Capacity Officer, you will work across all seven City of Salisbury Community Centres / Hubs supporting a diverse, experienced team of community development staff to assist in the delivery of innovative and sustainable neighbourhood development initiatives across the community. Central to this role is the continued implementation and coordination of the day-to-day aspects and interface of the Room Booking system across our neighbourhood facilities to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the City of Salisbury Community Centres and Hubs to ensure that effective use is made of the neighbourhood facilities.
This position within the Neighbourhood Development team will also play an important role in the delivery of strategic initiatives aligned with Council's community development agendas particularly around wellbeing and neighbourhood development.
The position offers flexible work conditions, the ability to work across multiple locations with the City of Salisbury and may require out-of-hours work.
Specialist Skills, Experience and Required Knowledge:
Understanding of strengths-based community development principles Experience in working collaboratively to build relationships and partnerships to develop and deliver initiatives that deliver community outcomes Proficiency in a range of information systems and technologies Current Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check Who you are:
