Public Relations & Corporate Affairs (Marketing & Communications) Want to work on Australia's largest transmission line project? Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new  700km transmission line  extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.  This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.  Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project timeline.   Who You Are Motivated. The Role The Community and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor will support the Community and Stakeholder Senior Advisor in delivering all community and stakeholder engagement and communication activities for the project. The position is located at our Wagga Wagga office and follows standard office hours. Travel to various locations along the project may be required. Your Duties and Responsibilities Will Include: Working closely with the Engagement team to build stakeholder engagement and create project content and communication materials. Arranging and attending stakeholder information sessions and organizing leaflet distribution as required. Supporting media announcement opportunities and producing marketing collateral focused on Project EnergyConnect. Supporting the planning and delivery of community-focused information sessions, small events, and camp tours. Supporting a rolling program of activities such as key stakeholder briefings, public displays, website, social media updates, and newsletters to communicate issues and engage the wider community. Coordinating timely responses to matters of community interest, including project design, significant milestones, changed traffic conditions, and construction activities. Coordinating site visits to our various worker accommodation camps. Your Skills and Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in a similar role. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to build stories and narratives that are engaging and informative. A good understanding of engagement principles and familiarity with the IAP2 Public Participation Spectrum. Demonstrated experience using a variety of internal and external communication channels. Strong focus on ensuring messaging is appropriate and tailored for the intended audience. Works collaboratively within a team and across the project.
