Job Description This position is responsible for assisting clients to undertake a range of centre and community-based leisure and recreation activities, to facilitate and maintain physical, cognitive activities and social functioning. The position will coordinate the Community Activity Centre with the assistance of the Centre Coordinator to ensure programs are scheduled, client needs are met, activities are organised, and staff are rostered appropriately.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities Direct line management of the Activity Officers and Support Staff Keeping abreast of funding and system reform within disability and aged care, with support from Business Manager Client services Implementing funding changes and managing client communication regarding the impact on clients and service delivery Contributing to budget development and monitoring to ensure services are delivered within budget Operational reporting including financial and service delivery Contribute to funding applications for special projects and grants Continuous improvement and attendance at clinical Governance meeting Skills and attributes required National Police Check (or willing to obtain) NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain) Desired Skills and Experience In return, you will be rewarded with:
