Coordinate and deliver a range of activities within the Communities and Social Performance (CSP) teams across Rio Tinto's APAC Closure portfolio.

About the role As the ?Adviser Communities and Social Performance, Closure, you will coordinate and deliver a range of activities within the Communities and Social Performance (CSP) teams across Rio Tinto's APAC Closure portfolio.
This role will provide technical support and act as a central conduit to the asset teams at Gove, Argyle, ERA and Kelian.
You will join an experienced and diverse team of CSP practitioners working in a diverse range of contexts.
With region–wide reach, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your understanding and experience of a unique stage of the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Provide on-ground tactical and technical support to the asset teams;  Act as a conduit to knowledge sharing between Closure sites;  Coordinate and provide practical support in implementing the CSP Standard at transitioning assets and legacy sites;  Coordinate and provide practical support for GISTM compliance activities;  Support CSP planning and reporting for transitioning and legacy assets;   Provide surge on-ground support, including technical advisory on key activities;  Support the integration of CSP elements into closure readiness approach across the business.
What You'll Bring A commitment to the physical and cultural safety of yourself and the team  Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as community development or the social sciences would be advantageous  Demonstrated experience working in a relevant field such as communities or corporate affairs  Well developed communication and interpersonal skills   Ability to effectively engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders with varying interests and perspectives  About Rio Tinto Rio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
