We have an opportunity for a Communications Team Lead to be partof our Industry, Strategy and Partnerships Division within theDepartment of Primary Industries and Regions.

The Communications Team Lead provides leadership and direction tothe Communications team in the Communication and Digital Servicesdirectorate.

This role is responsible for the planning, development andimplementation of effective communications strategies andassociated activities that increase awareness about the work of thedepartment and amplifies across channels.

The Communications Team Lead is required to liaise with businessareas to determine required resources and recommend deliveryaccordingly where the Service Level is beyond core businessrequirements (SL2).

The nature of the position means the Communications Team Leadrequires extensive knowledge, skills, and experience incommunications, preferably in a government context, strongmanagement skills, outstanding relationship management and teamworkcapabilities. An ability to quickly comprehend complex issues andtranslate into clear, concise, and easy to understand content anddirection is essential to success in this role.
