We are seeking a Communications Student for our Solar District in New South Wales that is available for up to three months starting November/December 2024. As a Communications Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities Researching, writing, and proofreading a wide range of engaging content for internal and external audiences, including articles, social media posts, website content, news releases, project profiles, executive communications, and proposal narratives. Coordinating the development and execution of projects/initiatives, as assigned. Developing and maintaining strong customer-focused relationships with our internal and external stakeholders. Monitoring, measuring, and analyzing engagement on traditional and social media platforms. Working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager to develop creative visual content. Supporting the ideation, planning and execution of district events. Consistently applying PCL Construction's branding to communication deliverables. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or diploma in journalism, communications or equivalent. A proficient writer with excellent proofreading skills and a high attention to detail. Knowledge of various communication media. A team player with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively. Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and take initiative in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment. A critical thinker with sound decision making skills. Ability to research, analyze and organize information accurately and effectively. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. We will consider it an asset if you have previous: Photography, video production, and graphic design experience. Internship experience.
