What we do
As a founder lead, privately owned business with operations across the Pilbara and Goldfields, Linkforce provides maintenance shutdown services and project delivery services to the mining, industrial, telecommunications and energy markets.
Due to company growth, we are seeking an experienced Communications Rigger Technician to join our Linkforce Communications Team on a full-time, permanent basis on a salary of $90,000 per annum. Salaries are based on 38 hours per week; however, you will be paid for all hours worked.
THE ROLE
This role involves specialised design and support functions in telecommunications engineering, focusing on:

Optimising and monitoring the performance of telecommunications networks.
Diagnosing and repairing network faults.
Selecting and installing telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless telecommunications equipment, including 3G, 4G, 5G, and LTE networks.
Conduct terminations, fault-finding, testing, and cabling for telecommunications systems on structures such as monopoles, lattice towers, and rooftops.
Read and interpret technical drawings, including layout, RF plumbing, and configuration drawings.
Provide technical support and advice to ensure efficient operation of telecommunications systems.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to meet quality and performance standards.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered you will hold the following:

Telecommunications Engineering degree or Certificate III in Telecommunications.
At least two years of experience in a relevant role, such as a Wireless Telecommunications Rigger performing technician tasks.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and performing technical tasks such as terminations, fault-finding, testing, and installation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
