About the role
We are currently seeking a Communications & Proposals Advisor to join our ever-growing Rail Operations hub based in either Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.
Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in the sole delivery of all aspects of Rail, working with a team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across Australia.

Key responsibilities
Manage logistics and coordination of internal corporate events, including Staff Updates, Staff Awards, Project Leader Forums, Christmas Parties, and others as they arise.
Manage logistics and coordination of external corporate events, including AusRail, IPA events, trade shows, conferences, and others as they arise.
Manage events and marketing supporting material, including banners, photography, and video arrangements.
Create engaging content and communications for use across a variety of internal and external communication platforms including LinkedIn, Viva Engage, and Newsletter.
Create, coordinate, prepare, and collate proposal documents as required.
Assist in the management of submission-related information.
Plan, write, edit, and proofread high-quality content to ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, and professionalism.
About you
Have a good working knowledge of the construction and engineering sectors and/or experience in a professional services environment.
Degree educated in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or other relevant field equivalent.
Knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign desirable but not necessary.
