Your Role Will Include:Answering Triple Zero (000) emergency calls for service from the Qld public in challenging situationsAccurately recording important time-critical information from callersIdentifying and allocating resources to life-threatening or significant situationsAccurately relaying information to operational police officersAnswering routine telephone requests for assistance from the publicPolice Communications Operators are required to work shift work (24/7), including weekends and public holidays.

Each phase consists of classroom-based training as well as a consolidation period in the live environment where participants are supported by an experienced Communications Operator.
