Communications Officer

12 month FTC for an experienced Communications Officer Your new company State government department. Your new role As the Communications Officer, you will assist in the delivery of communications and engagement activities in line with the organisation's strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to: Support various business units across their communications activities to strengthen the organisations brand. Work as part of a wider communications team in the delivery of campaigns, events and content development. Responsible for the organisations digital media library, including approval of new assets. Support on the delivery of events and management of marketing and communications collateral. What you'll need to succeed You will have tertiary qualifications in communications, PR, marketing or equivalent with proven experience in a related field. Experienced in using traditional and digital communications platforms. Demonstrated experience in copywriting and production is desirable. Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. WA C class driver's licence.
