Establishing, delivering and maintaining effective external communication mechanisms including the development of annual reports, Adelaide PHN publications, program videos, webinars, website updates, managing and tracking messaging for key announcements, and supporting internal stakeholder working groups.Coordinate the production of communication materials and publications, including scoping requirements with stakeholders, developing content (written materials, images, video and audio), coordinating approvals and disseminating the final product.Contributing to the development and implementation of communications and engagement plans for Adelaide PHN initiatives and monitor their effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.Developing and maintaining effective internal communication mechanisms such as staff updates, internal working groups, and support briefings for executive managers.Maintain communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including maintaining systems to track stakeholder contacts and input) to identify opportunities for collaboration, and influence and negotiate communication requirements.This position is being offered on an initial 12-month fixed term contract, with the potential for extension.
The position is offered as either full-time, or 0.8FTE part-time across a 4 or 5-day working week and will have the flexibility to work from home 1 day per week post induction and training.
Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You The Communications Officer operates with some autonomy in respect to their day to day work priorities and workload management, within an agreed work plan.
The position holder must ensure the quality, integrity and validity of their content and outcomes.
To be successful in this role you'll need:
Preferably 3+ years prior experience in a similar role.Exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content.To be a strong communicator who works well independently and with a team.Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices.Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts.To be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction.How to Apply Apply now by clicking on Apply and include a maximum 2 page cover letter outlining your suitability for the role along with your resume.
