JOBDESCRIPTION: This role involves the provision of support and assistance to the Marketing and Community Engagement team in the development, implementation, and management of communication programs for the National Trust. This role focuses on the development and implementation of content for internal and external audiences across traditional and online communication channels.
Key Duties:
1. Content creation for website, digital marketing, magazine and press releases, ensuring information across platforms is up to date;
2. Engage stakeholders in National Trust cause and activities;
3. Contribute to and implement marketing communications campaigns;
4. Assist with development of marketing collateral and ensure regular distribution;
5. Assist to monitor marketing campaign effectiveness;
6. Ensure all communications conform to brand identity;
7. Assist with the preparation and delivery of events;
8. Provide administrative support as required; and
9. Other duties as directed by the CEO.
SELECTIONCRITERIA: Essential:
1. Demonstrated ability to write and manage content creation across multiple platforms;
2. Demonstrated ability to manage projects on time and to budget;
3. Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience;
4. Demonstrated ability to work both in a team environment and independently;
5. Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with attention to detail;
6. Demonstrated information and technology skills, including content management systems and the use of Microsoft 365 and Office Suite of software;
7. "C" Class Driver's Licence; and
8. National Police Clearance.
Desirable:
1. Experience with the Adobe Suite of programs, including InDesign
2. Experience in using HubSpot or other CRMs;
3. Knowledge of WordPress or other website platforms;
4. Demonstrated qualifications and/or experience in related disciplines; and
5. Experience in the preparation and delivery of events.
FOR FURTHER JOBRELATEDINFORMATION: Following and initial 12 month fixed-term contract, with a six-month probationary period, subject to satisfactory performance and financial viability, a longer term extension may be offered.
