Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.

Your Opportunity: The position of Communication Officer will: Support Media and Communications team members to prepare and deliver high-quality communication activities and activations that meet the identified strategic goals of Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.Be the guardian of internal communications channels (Viva Engage and newsletters), to help our staff feel well informed and engaged.Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the organisation to source communications opportunities.Be organised with an eye for detail, self-motivated with a focus on quality outcomes, and a lateral thinker who is both creative and flexible in their approach.
