The Role PANDA is seeking a Communications Officer – Health Education to create external-facing educational content for our Learning Hub, with a focus on healthcare providers. You'll work closely with clinical and peer teams to develop evidence-based, human-centred content that enhances understanding of perinatal mental health. Key responsibilities include:
• Writing online, self-paced course content.
• Coordinating stakeholders for content development and validation.
• Supporting the delivery of webinars and presentations.
• Collaborating with marketing to launch and promote courses.
• Coordinating clinical staff presentations for healthcare providers in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities • Plan and develop educational content, synthesising evidence into practical resources.
• Collaborate with clinical, peer, and marketing teams to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Support course promotion and increase completion rates.
• Oversee clinical staff presentations and webinars.
Key Selection Criteria • Excellent writing skills, including applying tone of voice and Plain English.
• Experience writing health-related content or in health promotion.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
• Interest or experience in mental health and education.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Planner).
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
Desirable • Experience developing online content or education.
• Experience in the not-for-profit or mental health sector.
Requirements • Qualification or experience in communications, health promotion, or education.
• Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, and right to work in Australia.
• 1 day in the office per fortnight, Thursdays essential.
